Vice President of Clinical Operations
Renee Mathew began her medical career over 30 years ago, starting as an Emergency Medical Technician in emergency services. Shortly after entering emergency services, Renee became a 911 dispatcher—seeing a new perspective of emergency medicine—and realized that she wanted to become a nurse.
In 2007, Renee graduated Summa Cum Laude with her associate degree in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University and began her nursing career in the emergency department at a hospital in Northern Kentucky. A year later, Renee received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. In 2012, Renee graduated Summa Cum Laude with her master’s degree and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, continuing her career in Emergency Medicine. Renee also became the Nurse Practitioner Coordinator, serving as liaison to the physicians, overseeing the nurse practitioner group, and handling staff scheduling.
In 2021, Renee joined CDR Health serving as Director of Clinical Care and assisted with the oversight of multiple COVID-19 monoclonal antibody treatment sites across the state of Florida. She developed the QA/QC program at CDR Health, with a primary focus on chart audits and clinical oversight. She then transitioned to CDR Health’s Tallahassee Clinic, where she became involved in the primary care office—assisting in managing primary care patients.
Renee was activated in response to Hurricane Ian, where she helped to staff our mobile specialty care and diagnostics medical bus, providing medical treatment to hurricane victims. Renee also assisted with QA/QC chart review and provided clinical guidance during the relief efforts.
Renee now serves as Vice President of Clinical Operations, with continued emphasis on QA/QC, chart audits, and providing clinical oversight for CDR Health.
