Ms. Misty Berryman, PMP, has over 15 years’ experience, working over 25 disasters providing technical support at the local and state level for the FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program in the areas of grant and project management, and reimbursement and closeout support. Additionally, she has provided guidance on HMGP (Sections 404 & 406), CDBG and other grant programs that support resiliency and sustainability.
She also provides planning support for emergency management and disaster recovery at the local and state level. She formally worked with the Florida Division of Emergency Management in the Recovery Bureau, providing support to the FEMA PA Program for over 13 disasters through project and grant management, emergency management and disaster recovery planning, accreditation coordination, reporting to executive management, and emergency management and activation response. Ms. Berryman has worked the following disasters:

Ms. Berryman has a BS in Social Sciences from Florida State University. She holds multiple certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Advanced Professional Series in Emergency Management, All-Hazards Operations Section Chief EOC/JFO Activation, NIMS Communications/Info Mgmt. Contract/Grant Monitoring, Advancing Accountability – Best Practices for Contract & Grant Management, Ensuring Long-Term Recovery through Post Disaster Planning and Resiliency FEMA Declaration Process, and over 40 FEMA courses.
